India's IndiGo's co-founder Gangwal sells stake worth $820 million
BENGALURU (Reuters) -Rakesh Gangwal, co-founder of Indian airline IndiGo, sold a 5.8% stake worth $820.3 million in operator Interglobe Aviation via bulk deals on Monday. Gangwal, who held a 11.72% stake in Interglobe, as of December-end, sold 22.5 million shares at a price between 3,015.10 and 3,016.36 rupees per share, according to stock exchange data. Morgan Stanley bought 2.1 million shares, according to the data.

HSBC to hire almost 50 bankers for startup, venture lending in US
HSBC is planning to recruit about 50 more bankers in its U.S. commercial bank to lend to startup companies, mainly in the technology and healthcare sectors, according to a senior executive. The London-headquartered bank hired about 40 people from Silicon Valley Bank after the latter lender failed a year ago. The innovation banking business at HSBC now stands at about 60 employees and is focused on serving early- and mid-stage companies.

Ford to pay $365 million in US import tariff evasion case
Ford Motor will pay $365 million to resolve U.S. allegations it violated a federal tariff law by misclassifying and understating the value of hundreds of thousands of its Transit Connect vehicles. The Justice Department said the settlement resolves allegations that Ford devised a scheme to avoid higher duties by misclassifying cargo vans imported from Turkey from April 2009 to March 2013. "Ford strongly disagrees with many of the characterizations in the DOJ’s statement and admits no liability in this matter," a Ford spokesperson said.
