Notcoin Introduces New Story-Driven Game: Features Lost Dogs NFTs and WOOF Token
08/02/2024 16:55Notcoin partners with Lost Dogs and Getgems to release an interactive Web3 game, focusing on narrative-driven experiences and NFTs.
Notcoin, Lost Dogs Co, and Getgems are launching a new story-driven Web3 game.
This partnership aims to redefine Web3 gaming and move Telegram games beyond traditional tap-to-earn models.
Notcoin Shifts from Tap-to-Earn to Story-Driven Game
This game invites players to join communities and vote on the dogs’ actions in their quest for a new home. Players will start on an interactive journey.
They will make pivotal ethical decisions that shape the narrative and impact their characters, represented by Lost Dogs non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Initially launched in March 2023 and tradeable on Getgems, these NFTs will evolve with the story, gaining extraordinary powers and celebrity status within the game.

Each decision has ethical implications that shape the narrative and impact the dogs’ journey, focusing on storytelling and emotional engagement. Moreover, the game offers players Notcoins and a new in-game token, WOOF, as they navigate through intriguing tasks and community-driven choices.
Lost Dogs Co is a small creative team that is founding social projects on TON. Their portfolio already has a successful NFT collection with gaming mechanics backed by several social gaming projects. Mad Tail, Lost Dogs Co CBO (Chief Barking Officer), expressed excitement about collaborating with The Open Platform (TOP)—the developer behind Notcoin.
“We went to the people at TOP, and they gave us everything we needed. All that was left was to take brushes and pens in our paws and write the most jaw-dropping story. We want to unveil a world full of discoveries, joy, suffering, cliffhangers, and mysteries. And, of course, we want to make sure everyone can play with their Notcoins and distribute WOOF,” Mad Tail told BeInCrypto.
Vanya, Founder of Getgems, also stated that their goal is to demonstrate how NFTs can build and communicate narratives. The team intends to drive mass adoption through unique storytelling and gameplay.
This strategic shift allows Notcoin to better reward its community and build a sustainable ecosystem, engaging users on a deeper, more meaningful level. Notcoin made history as the first massive tap-to-earn game, capturing the attention of over 35 million players earlier this year. These coins were later converted into NOT tokens and made available to trade on major exchanges in May.
Notcoin’s success has prompted other tap-to-earn games to emerge, such as Hamster Kombat and Tapswap. Together, these games have significantly contributed to the growth of the Telegram and TON ecosystem.
The latest initiative from Notcoin showcases Telegram’s expanding Web3 ecosystem. BeInCrypto reported that Telegram had launched an in-app browser with decentralized website support. This feature allows its users to navigate between messages and explore Web3 content seamlessly.

Despite the rise of tap-to-earn games and Telegram’s expansions, Hamster Kombat and TapSwap have recently made headlines due to the postponement of their airdrop and vague timeline for the token generation event (TGE).
