How crypto might help improve the early innings of artificial intelligence

Incentives in artificial incentives can be re-aligned using blockchain technology, according to Aimelia.network CEO Rain Wu

The race to lead in artificial intelligence is already accelerating at a breakneck pace. Tech giants like Meta, Amazon, Alphabet, and OpenAI are already spending billions to outpace each other.

But as the battle also shows, it's not necessarily clear what the end-game looks like quite yet. Meta, for example, is pursuing a much more open-source strategy — and plenty of other projects see opportunities on the horizon.

On the sidelines of The Bitcoin Conference, Roundtable anchor Rob Nelson recently chatted with Aimelia.network CEO Rain Wu, to discuss opportunities in the AI predictive model space. Wu's innovative approach aims to simplify and enhance the decision-making process for both institutional and individual investors.

Nelson kicked off the conversation by asking Rain Wu to explain Aimelia.network’s unique contribution to the AI predictive model landscape. Wu acknowledged the abundance of AI agents and prediction models available but emphasized the distinct challenge they aim to address: Identifying the best AI solution for specific problems. Wu explained, "We build out a decentralized AI evaluation protocol to solve these problems."

Nelson clarified the practical application of this protocol, suggesting that users could utilize it to determine the most suitable AI to tackle their issues. Wu confirmed, highlighting the goal of creating a comprehensive pipeline on prediction markets, where problems people care about, such as predicting election outcomes or financial events, are collected and bet upon.

Polymarket, one of the most popular prediction markets has exploded in popularity this year, with hundreds of millions of dollars being risked on the platform.

Aimelia.network's protocol operates on top of these prediction markets, offering a structured way to evaluate and predict outcomes. Wu elaborated on the inclusive nature of their platform, designed for both institutional investors and individual speculators. Nelson illustrated this with a hypothetical scenario: Predicting geopolitical events and deciding on investment strategies like buying oil based on the AI's recommendations.

Wu emphasized the importance of guiding speculators with better prediction models. By integrating AI into the prediction market, Aimelia.network aims to refine the speculation process, providing more accurate and reliable predictions. This dual approach not only serves the speculative community but also improves the overall quality of predictions.
