Bullish projections see Bitcoin closing 2024 strong with $100,000 in sight

With historic demand and favorable charts, Bitcoin could see six-figure highs in the coming months.

Bitcoin's meteoric ascent appears poised to continue, with industry experts forecasting new all-time highs by early next year.

Roundtable anchor Rob Nelson spoke with Sam Price, host of Crypto Lifer, and John Divine of Digital Asset OTC Trading at BlockFills, about their bullish outlook on bitcoin's trajectory and the factors fueling its rise.

Sam Price confidently predicts that bitcoin could reach $100,000 by year's end. "Technical analysis is pretty spot on. It's given us a $100,000 by the end of the year," Price stated. He emphasized that the alignment of charts, dwindling supply, and escalating demand make it "a pretty obvious call to make as an analyst."

Price also acknowledged potential market fluctuations due to seasonal factors like tax considerations and holiday spending. "There's always a bit of a sell-off at the end of Christmas... and then I believe the second, third week of January, maybe even sooner, I think it's going to get front run," he noted. Despite these temporary dips, he believes bitcoin will surpass $90,000 by year-end and potentially hit $100,000 before Valentine's Day.

Echoing Price's optimism, John Divine offered insights from the options market to support these projections. "The options probabilities are certainly turning into favor that these markets do come into play," Divine explained. He highlighted that the delta on out-of-the-money options contracts for bitcoin at $90,000 is at its highest probability ever. "The options market is pricing the highest probability it's ever priced, that bitcoin will trade at $90,000 by the end of this month," he said.

Rob Nelson underscored the significance of data-driven analysis in forecasting market trends. Comparing technical analysis to astrology, he remarked, "You're actually reading data based on data points, past data points." Nelson facilitated the discussion, drawing out insights that suggest, barring unforeseen events, bitcoin is on track to reach unprecedented heights in the coming months.
