The crypto market registered a marginal uptick over the past 24 hours despite several altcoins crashing on April Fools’ Day. Despite the altcoin crash, the crypto market cap is up 0.50% and currently sits at $2.7 trillion. Bitcoin (BTC) was one of the handful of cryptocurrencies to register an increase, rising just over 1% to cross $84,000. 

However, the flagship cryptocurrency remains down by over 4% over the past week. Ethereum (ETH) registered a marginal increase over the past 24 hours but is yet to reclaim $2,000, with the price languishing just above $1,850.
