The Security and Exchange Commission today said that it will need more than 45 days to evaluate a rule change that would allow Grayscale to convert its Ethereum trust into an Ethereum spot ETF. The new deadline is January 25, 2024.
"The commission finds it appropriate to designate a longer period within which to take action on the proposed rule change so that it has sufficient time to consider the proposed rule change and the issues raised therein," according to the official notice.
