Fidelity’s retail trading app showed spot Bitcoin ETF tickers, including ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), although one user confirmed that trading was unavailable for now.

Shortly after, Bloomberg notably listed 11 Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs on its terminal under the “pending listing” designation.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange also filed a request for acceleration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on behalf of Invesco Galaxy, essentially asking for permission to list and start trading simultaneously with other issuers like ARK 21Shares and BlackRock

It’s expected that the SEC will announce approval for multiple spot Bitcoin ETFs, with firms opening trading as early as Jan. 11. ETF expert James Seyffart noted that approved 19b-4 applications, the proposals for rule changes, will be the final indicator that BTC ETFs are a done deal.

This is the correct take. The only reason these issuers are requesting acceleration is because they were asked to do this by the SEC.

That said — i'm waiting on these 19b-4 #Bitcoin ETF approval orders. Once we see those, it's a done deal https://t.co/TbnsB8jQxO
