Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) did not mention bitcoin (BTC-USD) in its Q4 earnings report or conference call, suggesting that the Elon Musk-led electric vehicle maker did not buy or sell any bitcoin during the fourth quarter of last year.
The company holds more than 9,720 bitcoins (BTC-USD), worth a total of ~$386.5M at current prices. That makes it the third-largest public holder of the highest-profile cryptocurrency, following MicroStrategy (MSTR) at 189,150 BTC and Marathon Digital Holdings (MARA) at 13,726 BTC, according to data from Bitcoin Treasuries.
Austin-based Tesla (TSLA) turned in Q4 EPS of $0.71, trailing the $0.74 consensus. Revenue of $25.2B was up 3.5% from a year ago, but $590M short of the consensus mark of analysts.
