And what I mean by that is they got into buying and selling as an exchange; really, that was the first foray into crypto. That's becoming increasingly commoditized. There's still going to be huge growth in the exchange platform, but Coinbase is really the primary on-ramps into the asset class, so if folks want to get involved in payments or remittance or, in our opinion, tokenization of real-world assets, web three, they have their own blockchain called base, they're going to be involved in virtually every aspect of how this industry grows, and then there is going to be parts of this industry, in our opinion, that are idiosyncratic to crypto." In a 352 to 65 vote (with one "present" vote), the House passed a bill that would require Chinese-owned ByteDance to divest TikTok in order to keep it operating in the US. Lawmakers are concerned that China could use the app to gather information about US citizens. The bill still has to go through the Senate, where its prospects are murkier. US House lawmakers are convening to vote on the bill that could strong-arm TikTok parent company ByteDance to sell the popular social media platform or face a ban in the United States. By the time of this video's publishing, House lawmakers voted 352 to 65 to pass the bill. CFRA Research Senior Equity Analyst Angelo Zino and 22V Research Senior Managing Director Kim Wallace talk about the broader implications if the bill goes through and how Senate leadership could be expected to vote on it. "It does have support from the White House, but we also need to... understand that if this eventually kind of fully goes through, there's also kind of legal aspects to it. So what I would tell investors out there is don't expect to necessarily get an outcome in a way to kind of play this necessarily overnight..." Zino says, cautioning on the long-term effects of a ban down the road into 2025. "We've heard from some leading Democrats who chair committees — Commerce and Intelligence — that they have reservations about some of the drafting of the bill," Wallace explains. The NASDAQ 100 (^NDX) is beginning to pull back Wednesday morning after record highs in the stock market. Ned Davis Research Group Chief US Strategist Ed Clissold joins Yahoo Finance to explain the pullback and how it may drive Fed policymaking.  Clissold signals the market's health: "It's an ongoing bull market. The concern right now is, 'Is the economy too strong for the Fed to cut rates?' That's actually a pretty good place to be. We think the Fed maybe will cut maybe a couple of times this year but, in fact, the market has done better when the Fed has cut slowly, up about 24% in the next year, that's not a forecast, just the average historically, versus 0.5% when the Fed has cut quickly, 5 or more times in a year, so this actually a pretty good place to be... If there's a pullback, that could be healthy for the long term, but big picture, things are in pretty good shape."
